Elle, my daughter, Debbie, was uterine fibroid primary. I cannot
remember
what her mitotic count was, but her mets to the lungs have been really
aggressive. She had her right lung removed on June 17th and facing
another thoracotomy
for resection of the remaining tumors in her left lung today she said
to me,
"I will never be normal again." My response was "I know sweetie, but
you will
BE." You see, in January of this year, she was inoperable and if we
did not
find a chemo that worked, four to six months was the prognosis. As of
today,
she is dancing with NED, breathing on her own and looking forward to
healing so
she can have some time that she does not have to fight this monster on
a
daily basis.
